In this educational classroom at The Cook’s Station, you’ll learn the foundations of cast iron cooking, along with tips and tricks that are sure to level-up your next session in the kitchen. You’ll also taste some bites right from the pan, which are sure to give you an appetite for more cast iron cooking.

Born & raised on the coast of Charleston in the beautiful Lowcountry region of South Carolina, Jason learned that our coastal waters have so much to offer for fresh seafood. Jason and his wife Cecilia, from Greenville, SC, decided it was time to move to the Upstate and live the mountain and lake life! As they made the decision to make this big move, Jason wanted to bring his love for his home on the coast to share with the Upstate community.
Recognizing most seafood sold away from the coast is often frozen multiple times over. Jason has made it his mission to serve the Upstate with fresh local, regional, and sustainably sourced quality seafood. Jason personally sources seafood selections up and down the eastern coast from NC to FL weekly to bring the freshest of seafood directly from the source to you.
His life of living on the coast has connected him with some of the best fisherman around and he only provides what they catch! Shrimp are usually plentiful, and Broadwater offers different variations from white to brown shrimp and the seasonal Royal Reds and Key West Pinks. Other seafood selections will be on the weekly menu as it is available!
Pick-up and onsite purchases are available at the #parkitmarket which is a mobile location published here and social media (sometimes we move around to serve multiple areas of the Upstate community).
